Our company is situated at the foot of Mount Io, on the border between Nanto City in Toyama Prefecture and Ishikawa Prefecture. Our sake bears the name 'Narimasa' due to its connection with the 'Water from the Spear's Tip' – a spring that emerged when Sassa Narimasa, Lord of Etchū Province during the Warring States period, struck the ground with his spear in search of water during battle. Founded in the Meiji era, we have been brewing sake cherished by the local community for over 130 years. In 1985, we pioneered Japan's first trust-based sake brewing system, the "Trust System", and continue to have fans nationwide. Our company upholds the tradition of sake cherished alongside Toyama Prefecture's food culture, while also pursuing the development of sake with new flavours and the refinement of brewing techniques. Sasa Narimasa 'Gold' Special Junmai Sake is brewed using sake rice suitable for brewing from Nanto City, Toyama Prefecture, and Kanazawa yeast. It is characterised by a banana-like aroma, a rich flavour, a clean finish, and a distinct acidity.
