The registered trademark "Rising Sun" is associated with "Rising Sun Ascending", which expresses the vigour of the rising sun.
The family's sake is brewed exclusively with rice suitable for sake brewing grown in Shiga Prefecture using environmentally friendly farming methods.
The Retro Label Series is a standard series of Asahi Sunrise sake that reprints labels from the early Showa period.
The Retro Label Kinjirushi Honjozo has a gentle, slightly sweet taste and can be enjoyed at a variety of temperatures, from cold to warmed.
The family founded the brewery in 1831.
It brews shiroki (white sake), which is offered at the Shinzame Festival and dedicated to shrines and jingu (Shinto shrines) all over the country. Every autumn, it is presented to the Emperor of Japan.
In November 2022, the restaurant will be joined by the Kakuregura Fujii, where guests can enjoy delicious food and the rising sun in the east storehouse, which is designated as a national tangible cultural property.
