A special selection of Bessen Yamahai, brewed with a yeast from the Namahashime system. It has a broad umami and full-bodied flavour, which is well harmonised with the subtle acidity felt down the throat. Warming it up enhances its umami even further.
Founded in 1881 in Tsugawa (now Aga-cho), a land of clear waters. Its representative brand, Homare Kirin, is named after the Kirin, one of China's traditional spiritual beasts, which is said to appear at the first sign of good things to come, in the hope that people will drink it in the bliss of life.
