Kashiwazaki City, Niigata Prefecture, is a seaside town along the Sea of Japan. This sake brewery has been brewing sake for over 200 years and is located a 10-minute walk from the beautiful coastline. The brewery uses high-quality Niigata rice and ultra-soft water to produce sake, which is characterised by a gentle, elegant taste.
The brewery has maintained the traditional methods handed down from generation to generation, but is not afraid of change, and rather enjoys it. We aim for even higher levels of 'deliciousness' while valuing such a spirit.
The 'Tanrei Junmai Aya' is a slightly dry junmai sake with a classical atmosphere amongst the Koshinohomare brands. It has a deep, elegant aroma and a crisp flavour that spreads in the mouth along with its umami. It has a traditional Koshinohomare junmai flavour that lingers after swallowing. It has a refreshing lightness that can be served chilled and complements meals as a mid-meal sake.
