Characteristics of the brewery
The rice used for Kirinzan Brewery's sake brewing is grown in the mountainous area along the Tsunenami River within a 10 km radius of the brewery. The brewing water is the same as that used for rice production.
The brewing water is the same subsoil water from the Tsunenami River that is used for rice production and is extremely soft. The brewery is committed to dry sake with a terroir that is 100% locally grown rice from the town of Aga.
