Founded in 1815, Myoko Shuzo is based on 200 years of tradition and produces unique sake with carefully selected ingredients and an inventive brewing philosophy.
Among these, Honjozo Myoukozan is the brewery's classic light, umami-guchi sake, brewed using local Niigata quality rice and home-cultivated active yeast. It is characterised by its light, moderate rice flavour and crisp aftertaste. It can be drunk cold or warmed up, and is recommended for drinking every night.
