The brewery dates back to the Kan'ei era (1624-1643) and has a history of nearly 400 years. Since 1979, Mine-no-Hiraubai has been the flagship brand, and has become one of the three most popular brands of Koshi (Mine-no-Hiraubai, Koshino-Kanubai and Yuki-Chubai).
