Echino Hachiho was named after the '8' of the name of the brewery's founding, Hatta Shuzo, and the 'Yutaka' of the name of the region, Houei. The brand name was created in the hope that customers and the brewery would become prosperous in the years to come.

Echigo-no-samaguchi won the Gold Award in the main category of the 'Delicious Sake in a Wineglass Award 2021'.
Many people think of Niigata as 'light and dry', but Echigo no Amaguchi is a deep sake with a mellow, sweet taste that goes down well in the throat. Four-stage brewing.
