Sake brewer founded in 1697, with a history as an official sake brewer of the Uesugi clan in Yonezawa. In 1983, the company started sake brewing in the rich natural environment, starting with the cultivation of sake rice. The brewery is also keen to produce new types of sake, such as authentic dry sparkling sake and pink-coloured junmai sake that uses no ingredients other than white rice.
Stealing Ginjo" is a long-selling ginjo sake that has been loved for a long time since the early 1980s, when "ginjo sake" itself was still a rarity.
The distinctive product name is derived from the story of how a delicious sake was stolen from a brewery in the old days and spread around the world under the name 'ginjo'.
Although it is a fire-aged product, it has a fresh aroma, just like a fresh sake.
For maximum enjoyment of the freshness, it is recommended to chill it thoroughly in the fridge before serving.
