The original snow-stored sake that makes the most of Niigata-Uonuma's regional characteristics. In 1987, Takai in Ojiya was the first company in Japan to attempt to store sake in the snow.
Snow storage is a storage method unique to Niigata, a snow country, in which storage tanks are placed in the snowy mountains for storage and maturation.
The temperature inside the tank is 0°C, with 100% humidity and zero air convection.
Storing in this condition leaves the freshness of new sake but removes the hardness, resulting in a mellow and unique flavour.

Taste data for everyone.
