Established in 1843 (Okuaga, Niigata), Kirinzan Sake Brewery is one of Niigata's leading light, dry breweries. The brewery is dedicated to producing dry-tasting, locally-rooted sake by growing rice 100% from Okuaga rice and by planting trees to protect the mountains.
The rich nature of Okuaga and the traditional dry taste have remained unchanged, and it is a well-known brand with many local fans.
Kirinzan Enrai is characterised by its 'aroma and lightness'.
The sound of rain falling on the mountains and the wind shaking the rice. It is a crisp, clean sake with a subtle aroma, like the sound of thunder echoing from the depths of the distant night.
