The Uonuma Sake Brewery is located on the outskirts of Tokamachi City, near the mountains, and is dedicated to producing delicious sake. Tenjinbayashi is a song of celebration that has been sung in the Echigo-Tsumari region for centuries. It has been sung at the opening of the brewery, rice planting, rice planting, construction and water filling. The sake Tenjinbayashi is well-known as an essential 'celebratory sake' for local festivities.
Tenjinbayashi Ginrei" is made from rice polished to 55% Gohyakumangoku (rice suitable for sake brewing) produced in Tokamachi, Niigata Prefecture, and brewed at low temperatures to slowly extract its full flavour. It is the brewery's signature ginjo-shu, with a clean, crisp flavour in the hot summer months.
