Hara Sake Brewery is a 200-year-old sake brewery that has been in business since the Edo period. While carefully inheriting the traditional techniques of a long-established business, the company continues to take on the challenge of introducing the appeal of new types of sake.
Hara Sake Brewery is committed to brewing sake using only the finest Niigata rice. The rice is grown by farmers and carefully polished over a long period of time by skilled brewers in the company's own rice polishing machines.
Junmai Ginjo Irodori uses rice polished to 50% and water from the melted snow of Mt Yoneyama, a sacred mountain in the local Kashiwazaki area. It is soft on the palate, with the refined, clean flavour of junmai ginjo and a fruity aroma that wafts into the nose. Its clean taste makes it a good match for seafood, but it is also recommended to enjoy it with mild cheeses.
Recommended serving temperatures are cold to room temperature.
