Mine-no-Hakuubai led the local sake boom in the 1980s as one of the 'Echigo Sanbai'.
The brewery has the second oldest history in Niigata Prefecture, having brewed sake since the era of Tokugawa Iemitsu in the Kan'ei era (1624-1643).
Mine-no-Hiraubai Junmai Ginjo has a mellow, umami-kuchi (flavour) taste with a soft mouthfeel, followed by a refreshing throat-clearing finish and a rich aftertaste.
The brewery recommends drinking it cold.
