The rice used to make Rice Hyakudara is local rice grown in the rice paddies around the brewery.
It has a calm aroma and elegant mouthfeel, and although it may seem light on the palate, the more you drink, the more you can taste the soft, well-balanced flavour of the rice.
It has a subtle rice sweetness and umami, a beautiful, delicate sake that is also very powerful.
Recommended served cold or chilled in the fridge.
